This blood drive at St. Mary’s is a regular one and was experiencing a good turnout. (Though I do wonder why they have their signs out back, instead out by the main roads where everyone could see them!) Donors got a coupon for a free carton of Friendly’s ice cream and were given instructions to avoid heavy lifting for the rest of the day.
Rest assured that certain donors are really working that last bit – oh Mr. Scituate Daily Photo, could you please move the tv remote a little closer? The nice Red Cross people said I should take it very easy…. 😉
