Remember those preying mantis egg cases? Yes, I am stalking them – and no, there is no sign of them stirring. Sigh.
I have spotted the hummingbirds in my yard, but I’ll be completely gobsmacked if I manage to catch one of those with the camera!

I have one set up and am planning to get at least one more this weekend – they’re just so darn fast that by the time I realize they’re out there and grab my camera, I’m sure I’ll miss them!!

I had a HUGE praying mantis on my patio the other day, I almost stood on it, looked like a twig..thank goodness I didn’t! Can’t wait for the hummingbird shot, you can do it Ali!!
