The South Shore Astronomical Society (http://www.ssastros.org/) visited Scituate Town Library for the annual Astronomy Day yesterday, Visitors were able to use telescopes to view the sun, visit a portable planetarium, do experiments and crafts and hear lectures from club members. And after darkness fell, the SSAC set up telescopes on the library lawn for a night sky viewing. Amazing!

Must have been an interesting day. I use the free software Stellarium to navigate the sky.
I love it! That’s my son in the blue shorts 🙂
