It’s race day! The Scituate Duathlon is a relative newcomer to the scene, but it has proven to be a very successful event.
The race starts with a 2 mile run.
Runners then pick up their bikes for the second leg of the race, a 10.2 mile loop. Volunteers make sure the transition from running to biking is as smooth as possible and that no one hops on their cycle before the official starting point of the second leg.
After that, it’s on to the third leg of the race, a 2.3 mile run.
The race organizers, volunteers and participants are all clearly having a lot of fun at this event… happy race day!
Results for the race are posted here. Congratulations to all who took part in this event!
