As the year winds to a close, I am going through all the photos of 2012 and picking out candidates for the Photograph of the Year.
“The Melting” was featured on January 23, 2011. This was taken at the Driftway Conservation area the morning after a snowfall as the sun warmed the landscape and coaxed it from its frozen state.

This is a good candidate for photo of the year.
