A surplus of sand

Ali Crehan Photography: Scituate Daily Photo 2013 &emdash; A surplus of sand

The entrance to Peggotty Beach shows the signs of a rough winter. Those blue rails on either side of the trash can are bike racks – and the “No Dumping sign” is fairly buried by all the sand that has blown towards the parking lot and away from the beach. Thanks to my friend Jennifer D. for the reminder to go check it out! I have some more photos to share from the beach this week, where a lot of the homes took some pretty good hits in all the storms.

I’m also trying out a few new posting times over the next several weeks, to see what works best for both me and for followers. Feedback on that welcome!

Prints are available at Ali Crehan Photography.

  1. Yowie! What a beating your community has taken!

    • It really has, Kay. Away from the coast, we lost a lot of trees – that damage will be more visible once spring comes and we notice their absence. This is one winter I am very eager to see the tail end of!
