Peggotty Beach is walking distance from the bustle of Scituate Harbor. Come summer it will dotted with brightly colored towels and plastic pails and shovels and a thousand footprints will trace every possible path from parking lot to water and in between.
But in the cold light of March after a long and stormy winter season, it seems forlorn and lonely, battered and bruised.

Interesting scene.
I love this photo. It makes me nostalgic for a place I’ve never been. Thanks for visiting my new blog (Amboise DP) and the warm welcome. You folks in the NE have had a rough winter…I hope the end is in sight for you.
Thank you, Stuart! We have certainly had a rough time of it this winter and we are very eager to see the spring.
