I’ve seen this all over town along the coastline – decks that have been pulled free of their houses, lying on sand and rocks in awkward repose. Staircases, too – just sort of lying on their sides, leading to nowhere. This deck was on a house on Peggotty Beach before the winter roared in and pulled it loose.
