It’s Theme Day in the City Daily Photo community! The theme chosen for April 2013 is “Pedestrians Crossing.”
But wait a minute… that’s a drain pipe. Where are the pedestrians?
Well, you have to look closely, because they’re shy. But if you’re gentle – and fast – you might catch one –
The frogs are a sure sign of spring, and they have been busily using their drainpipe crossing to reach the marshy areas where they prefer to lay their eggs. And just as gently as you caught her, set her free – so she can continue with her springtime activities!

I think it’s amusing that the word “pedestrian” in English has come to mean “ordinary”. This photo proves just the opposite. These little guys are extraordinary. Great shots. thanks
