At the Scituate Town Library, patrons have been invited to take construction paper hearts and write across them all the reasons they love to be there. The colorful hearts greet you as you walk in the front door, proclaiming affection for “new books” and “Lego Club” and “all the nice people here.”
Well, Peter of the “Peter! He’s funny!” heart is working his last day at the library today. He’s leaving Scituate to become a library director on the North Shore – the nerve of him! While we’re sad to see him go, we wish Peter all the best – May the force be with you!
