Now that the pleasurecraft are packed away in their boat yards, wrapped up tight and dreaming of summer sun, it’s time to put away the docks.
All summer long, bare feet ran up and down their lengths and coolers bumped along on their plastic wheels as they traveled from car to cabin.
But now it’s heavy boots and metal hooks as the workers pull the sections up and away, one by one, over the walls and onto Cole Parkway where they will winter through.

Bittersweet. I miss the summer but I love the fall and winter. Great shot.
There’s some thing to love in every season… I remind myself of that when I start to get annoyed with the one I’m currently in!
