Well, in the past couple of days we’ve had a little bit of everything. Snow, sleet, rain, sneet, freezing rain, accumulating snow, puddling rain, flooding, freezing, melting… Icicles are sprouting in every possible place, no matter how quickly we knock them down. This afternoon they dripped in the rain, and tonight they will freeze again.
We are all very tired of this.
Puxatony Phil didn’t see his shadow this morning. (My husband wryly observed that if the groundhog had seen his shadow, the crowd might have rioted and had Phil for breakfast.) Here’s hoping he’s right and we get an early spring – because enough is enough already!
