We are lucky enough in this town to have an independent bookstore that supports our local authors – and tonight was a perfect example as the Front Street Book Shop welcomed local son Steve Himmer to read from his first novel The Bee-Loud Glade. Because the evening was so lovely, chairs were set out on the store’s front lawn and attendees enjoyed breezes from the harbor while listening to the book’s first chapter. What could be more lovely than this?
