For the next couple of months, I’ll be running a series called “Sacred Sundays” featuring places of worship around the town of Scituate. We kick off the series with the Christ Lutheran Church on Rt. 3A.

This church was built in 1969 and has a warm, welcoming feel to it. It is perched on a hill, hence the slanted feel to this photograph!

  1. I attend this church (I joined a few years ago,) so I’m a little biased. But I can tell you that the congregation is warm and welcoming, and the Pastor is enthusiastic and knowledgable. Plus we have a great variety of music and musicians, so there is a blend of traditional and contemporary music. Services are Sunday mornings at 9:30 followed by coffee and Bible classes for children and adults. Come visit us. We’d love to meet you đŸ™‚
