Next up in our Sacred Sunday series is Harbor United Methodist Church. Many of the churches in town are very traditional New England designs, but Harbor United Methodist Church is a warm brown stone with dark wood doors. It’s a welcoming-feeling building, and I must say that out of all the church websites I’ve looked at thus far, theirs has the most personality – you really get a sense of their community and its level of involvement.
Located within walking distance of the harbor, this church hosts a wide variety of activities for the Scituate community at large.
Allot of memories in that Church as I grew up. Sunday School, Weddings, Baptism’s, Funerals, Bake Sales and get togethers. A true Scituate Landmark.
