Moira says, “This year Scituate had a big ceremony for the Fourth of July. They don’t usually but it’s our 375th anniversary and they wanted to do something because of that. They were selling t-shirts and stickers and flags at this tent. The ‘Don’t Give Up The Ship’ motto comes from a sea battle in 1812 that you could see from Second Cliff here in Scituate.”
