…. well, more or less set for Heritage Days in Scituate Harbor! Visitors park at the Greenbush commuter rail station and ride the free shuttle to the harbor, where there will be music, artisans and craft vendors, boat races, amusement rides and food from pancakes to pigs to pies. Events kick off tomorrow night with luminaria along the coastline and First Friday in the harbor – come on down!

And do not forget the Pie Social! Yum.
Trying to figure out if that’s actually where the stage will be set or if it’s just in the process…
I haven’t lived int he area for 30+ years and can’t imagine what Cole Parkway looks like today.
Hope everyone enjoys the festivities this weekend.
Peg, they have moved the stage from Front Street to Otis Place, on the harbor side. They were starting to have concerns about safety and overcrowding – it was very difficult to maneuver through the area, and what if there were an emergency of some kind? – and this new location seemed a good compromise. It does appear to be working well, so that’s good!
