September in the rain

This afternoon the sky changed from its bright and humid attire into something a little darker. Clouds swept in and rain swept in and summer swept out as the thunder rumbled. They say it will be cool, fall-like weather from here on out.

“The raindrops played a sweet refrain” – and left the spiderwebs brilliant with their song…

  1. Is that a pussy willow plant? It still looks so green… Love the spider web on it too..

  2. I totally ‘fess up – this picture is from April. 97% of the pictures I post were taken within 24 hours of when they are posted – but 3% of the time, life gets a little whirlwindy and I dip into my archives. 😉 Well spotted, Peg!

  3. Ali, you didn’t have to share that…lol… I kind of suspected you’d had a very busy day…that pussy willow is very ‘springish’ to say the least. I grew up in New England, specifically central NH and the south shore of Massachusetts. I went to Scituate High School.

  4. Old or new, it’s very nice!
