… turn to brown.
The green of the trees is giving way to the reds and golds and orange blazes of fall, and soon enough they’ll be memories hushing the ground while they themselves lie beneath a blanket of snow.
And so it goes – another summer gone.

As if this photo wasn’t pretty enough, there is the spider web surprise!
Michele D.
I myself didn’t see that spiderweb when I took the photo – it wasn’t until I’d uploaded my photos that I noticed it!
It’s so nice when you get little extras like this that you only discover later. You’ve captured the changing of the seasons exquisitely Ali, such a delicate image.
I so miss the changing of the leaves this time of year. Thank you for sharing … I’m homesick.
It’s nice to see some of the colors changing. Great shot!
One of my favorite parts of fall is the smell of leaves as they fall – it triggers such a deep, emotional response in me. Of all the seasons, I think that autumn is the most intense – the sounds, the smells, the sights…
YIA, so nice to ‘see’ you!
Thanks for the compliments, all. 🙂
