You know what that means:
TV News crews, with their colorful logo-covered rain gear and their enormous satellite-on-a-pole trucks.
I hope they get hazard pay. You see that poor guy off to the right side of the frame, lugging the heavy equipment to and from the truck? He’s setting up a whole shot on the other side of the lighthouse, where it’s windy and nasty, because nothing makes people happier than seeing a reporter getting pelted by the storm, I guess.
Of course, it’s not all that exciting down here – lots of rain, lots of wind but so far (knock on wood!) no snow. But the news crews love to come hang out in Scituate whenever a bit of weather kicks up.

Wow….brings back lots of memories. Hope you escape the snow.
Praying it doesn’t snow on you just yet…the water is still too warm, maybe? But the rain is good for the water table if it doesn’t stay around for days and days….
I’m starting to crave hot tea, strong coffee, cocoa, and eggnog lattes. Can winter be far behind? Those rain splatters in the top shot make me fear it won’t be long. Ugh!
