A red-tailed hawk launches itself from the top of a white pine.
From a technical perspective, it’s a deeply flawed photo. But the image itself appealed to me to let it go.

I would hardly consider it flawed. Is it crystal clear and sharp? No. But it creates a mood (a reflective one) and that makes for an excellent photo.
