Here’s the color version of yesterday’s Monochrome Monday photograph. I loved the way the brown marsh contrasted with the blue sky and the white lighthouse – this was definitely a photo which I liked in both the color and black-and-white versions!
Sorry to repeat myself, gang, but my desktop is currently doing its best impression of a paperweight! Fortunately Mr. Scituate Daily Photo set my system do compulsively back up all files, and my desktop is still under warranty. Hopefully I’ll have my laptop on speaking terms with my external hard drive and camera shortly and this will simply be a hiccup in my week.
I do hate having the hiccups, though.
It’s OK Ali, your photos are worth the wait. I agree, hiccups are no fun. My brother once had them for 3 weeks….ouch 🙁
It’s a great shot Ali, lighthouses are always good value. I do like it with the blue sky, nice contrast to the white of the lighthouse too. Good luck with the hiccups, have good remedy for human kind, I’ve got nothing for the electronic variety!!
If I had to pick, I’d go with the colour – but they’re both beautiful photos.
Hope the hiccups are only a temporary distraction!
