It’s March 1st, and in the worldwide City Daily Photo community that means it’s Theme Day! This month’s theme is “Electricity.”
I decided to dip back into the archives for today’s photo, because it fit the theme so well. Every July the Knights of Columbus carnival comes to town and transforms Cole Parkway into a sea of whirling, flashing neon lights against the shore of a dark, warm summer sky.

Yes, slim, a tripod and a super long exposure. Once I figured out the right length for the different angles, rides, etc, it was really quite fun!
