Precincts

Yesterday the polls were open for the primary in Massachusetts. Voting is held at the Scituate High School. The town is broken up into precincts, and this giant posterboard in the gymnasium lobby lists each street and its corresponding precinct.

There wasn’t much in the way of contests for this primary, at least not in my district, and turnout at the polls was light.

  1. These are a thing of the past in Washington state – we vote by mail here. It’s convenient, but not the same. . .
