I always worry about what gets left behind. The forlorn glove placed gently onto a fence post, waving a sad goodbye – the toy man half buried in the wet sand after everyone has gone home for the day – the stray sandals waiting in the parking lot for their dancing partners to return. Do they ever find their way home?
