V is for Village Market, the local supermarket in Scituate Harbor. (I remember when it was an Angelos and there was a lunch counter tucked off to the side!) The Village Market is the only supermarket in town. They paint their storefront windows regularly with festive and seasonal scenes and provide a cheerful spot in the harbor.
This is my contribution to ABC Wednesday! I was having a glitch yesterday, so it didn’t get posted at its regularly scheduled time – better late than never, I guess!

I like little hometown grocery stores…so much more than the box stores.

This type of village store is so nice – our local hardware store is just like it only bright yellow.

I am the queen of “late” so agree with your “better late than never” philosophy 🙂 I had to look up Scituate Harbor to get a feel for where you live. Wow! Beaches and rivers and a harbor.. maybe not so different from Vancouver but a bit cooler in the winter, perhaps. As for the Village Market, I imagine it is a gathering place for the townspeople as was the only one in the small Quebec town where I grew up.
