The snow started as rain in the dark morning drumming against the sleepy roof… and by mid-morning it was turning from snowflakes to raindrops again… but it was lovely while it fell like spun sugar from the sky…

Lovely image. I remember those days. We called it a ‘wintery mix’ in Michigan. I’d much rather have snow and the possibility of skiing over a ‘wintery mix’ any day.
