Or in this case, crocuses from the debris field of Percy Mann’s car.
I really do hope I’m not the only crazy person who lies down in the yard at the Mann House and communes with the explosion of crocuses in the spring… but I bet it’s a pretty small club.
We had a beautiful and warm spring day for my birthday on Monday – but it’s gone back to chilly brittle sunshine for the rest of the week. Still, there is sunshine and there are flowers and that is a glorious thing!

Belated happy birthday! And happy crocus! I’ve been known to lie down for a shot, but do it rarely these days because returning to my feet is not a pretty sight (oh those creaky knees!).
Thank you Kay!
Belated Happy Birthday! Wonderful crocus, too. I so envy you living there this time of year, though I did manage to grow and have blooming tulips for Easter…sadly, they’re about gone by now; it’s too warm already for them.
Thank you!! I am looking forward to being able to open the windows and then just leave ’em that way. 🙂
